
The FIVEFOURFIVE and Swarovski collab left everyone speechless The "Crystal Storm" capsule marks a new chapter for the Italian brand
Last December 1st, FIVEFOURFIVE presented its new project “Crystal Storm”, a capsule embellished with Swarovski crystals, marking yet another evolutionary step for the brand after its highly acclaimed collaborations with Golden Goose. Not a simple collaboration, but a distinct chapter meant to reaffirm the identity of the label while simultaneously elevating its aesthetic language.

For this new release, creative director Luca Santeramo wanted to amplify the clean and sophisticated forms that have always defined FIVEFOURFIVE’s garments, introducing an unexpected element: a true storm of light, hence the name of the capsule. The idea behind the project and the entire campaign is indeed that of a Crystal Storm striking the man and his wardrobe, leaving an indelible mark in its wake.
The face chosen for the campaign is Blanco, representing the new wave of Italian talent and the energy defining the evolving new generation. The singer has become the symbol of this powerful and youthful force that lies at the core of the capsule, thanks to the images shot by Chilldays, who interpreted the concept with his unique photographic vision, suspended between intimacy and visual impact.
Four essential pieces
The “Crystal Storm” capsule consists of four key pieces, each embellished with Swarovski® crystals acting as a luminous scar left by the storm: from the elegant Crystal Wool Coat, enriched with a shining detail on the shoulders, to the seemingly simple Crystal Black Shirt, elevated by a crystal-studded collar. Then comes the Crystal Denim 01, in a vintage blue finished with the Swarovski signature along the hem. Finally, an accessory could not be missing: the MI Crystal Necktie, a necktie in perfect streetwear style but with a touch of elegance provided by the crystals forming the letters MI, recalling the brand’s origin.
A memorable presentation
FIVEFOURFIVE also presented its new collection “Away From Home”, with 8 pieces accompanied by the "Crystal Storm" capsule, something the brand had never done before. For three days, from December 5th to 7th, Lucia Pizza, a restaurant in the heart of Soho in New York City, hosted the brand’s first international pop-up store, turning the venue into a familiar and vibrant space, perfect for presenting the new project during one of the busiest times of the year. The event was conceived to combine lifestyle and f&b, two elements deeply rooted in Italian culture: the pop-up store aimed to bring abroad not only FIVEFOURFIVE’s aesthetic but also its spirit of conviviality, recreating a moment of sharing in which the community could recognize itself.
