Marco De Vincenzo has left Etro A creative chapter that began in June 2022 comes to an end

It was announced this afternoon that Marco De Vincenzo has left the creative direction of Etro. Beginning in June 2022, De Vincenzo’s tenure represents the first creative chapter of the brand to unfold without the direction of a member of the founding family. De Vincenzo’s era was defined by the brand’s strong international appeal and a reworking of the boho style for which the brand is known. These have also been years of significant growth for the brand and, recently, a change in ownership.
The final stages of De Vincenzo’s tenure saw a profound reorganization within the brand, from which the founding family definitively exited in December 2025 after selling its minority stake to Rams Global, to Mathias Facchini through Swinger International and to investor Giulio Gallazzi through Sri Group. The brand was performing well as several sources say that the valuation made in December exceeded the value of the initial investment made by L Catterton, one of the investment arms of the Arnault family. Moreover, with the acquisition new industrial partners also came on board for the brand’s production.
