Here's how the 14th edition of Spring Attitude Festival went A weekend of art and music at the Nuvola in Rome's EUR district
Spring Attitude 2025 came to a close once again, confirming its ability to redefine the festival format in Italy. For two day,s Massimiliano Fuksas’ La Nuvola was transformed into a living organism, crossed by sounds, lights, and bodies: a space that was not just a container but an integral part of the performance. This year’s edition recorded a significant turnout, with spaces filled both inside and outside, where installations and light shows contributed to creating an immersive experience that further raised the bar for the national scene. The line-up delivered on its promise of balance between big names and new voices. BICEP brought their audiovisual show CHROMA in its Italian exclusive, followed by Apparat’s cinematic DJ set and Ellen Allien’s uncompromising techno energy. La Rappresentante di Lista blended theatricality with electronic pop, while L’Impératrice confirmed its status as an international cult band. Alongside them, the festival gave space to a generation of artists under 35, from Giorgio Poi to Coca Puma, from La Niña to Post Nebbia, consolidating its role as a platform for research and coolhunting. More than in past editions, Spring Attitude reaffirmed Rome’s centrality within a cultural network that is increasingly European, showing how the city can still generate new imaginaries and host experiences capable of competing on an international level.
