The first collaboration between JW Anderson and Diadora is out Brands have reimagined the Equipe Trainer

From the track to luxury, JW Anderson unveils its first collaboration with Diadora, marking the debut of their creative partnership. At the center of the project is the Equipe Trainer, an archival model originally created for elite athletes. After nearly 50 years of history, the silhouette is reinterpreted by JW Anderson in four colorways: the collaboration is part of the FW26 collection, presented in the lookbook worn by actor Connor Sànchez and captured through the lens of Sammy Khoury.

The model appears more elegant and lightweight compared to today’s sneakers thanks to its sleek silhouette, swallowtail suede toe, and heel-wrapping sole. The unisex sneaker is available in the Green Night, Navy Peony, Empire Red, and Princess Blue colorways, all completed with contrasting pop-colored laces and JW Anderson branded details.

The partnership fits into the already ongoing trend of renewed connections between luxury brands and the sneaker universe following the boom of streetwear culture: among the most recent examples are Onitsuka and Versace, whose reinterpretation of the TAI-CHI model was unveiled during the Spring/Summer 2026 runway show, blending Japanese sports heritage with the codes of Italian luxury, as well as the now well-established collaboration between Valentino and Vans, reintroduced for the Cruise 26 collection following the success of their first collaboration in September 2025.

The limited-edition collection will be available starting May 15, 2026 on the JW Anderson website, Diadora’s website, and through selected retailers.
