Spring has finally arrived in Milan and, despite the occasional sudden rain shower followed by radiant sunshine, the days are getting longer, giving us the chance to make the most of every moment. For the most enthusiastic among you, or for anyone who still hasn’t planned their weekend, nss magazine’s weekly guide is here to help. From new openings and exclusive markets to cultural events, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Shop - Prada Spring Market

Prada Beauty has decided to embrace the warmer season by bringing an original format that blends heritage and contemporaneity to the heart of Brera: Prada Spring Market, an experiential space taking place from the afternoon of Wednesday, May 13 until Saturday, May 16 at Frutteto Garibaldi, on Corso Garibaldi 18, a historic Milanese shop founded in 1950 and a landmark for the neighborhood. Visitors will be able to compile their own shopping list and discover a selection of the brand’s make-up products and fragrances, with a focus on the season’s absolute standouts: the new Prada Touch, the iconic Balms and the Paradoxe and Paradigme fragrances. It will also be possible, upon reservation, to enjoy a flash make-up session at the dedicated Make-up Station.

To Eat - Faak

Faak is the multifaceted culinary project by Viviana Varese, whose slogan, “Food and Wine in Natural Rebellion”, already says it all. A rebellious and unconventional venue with a strong artisanal identity and a fiery heart: the grill. No matter what time you choose to visit, you’ll always find a delicious and ever-evolving menu designed for convivial moments.

To Chill - Poliform Café

Next to Teatro alla Scala, Poliform has inaugurated its new store together with the Poliform Café, a space open from breakfast through aperitivo, featuring a gastronomic selection curated by Rovello18, a historic Milanese destination. The café focuses on a recognizable Italian offering, designed to accompany every moment of the day. A proposal fully in tune with its surroundings and perfectly aligned with the broader transformation of stores into places to experience rather than simply visit.
