The French capital still seduces by its culture and unique art de vivre

After being featured last April in the ranking of the best cities in the world for its architecture and iconic Haussmannian buildings according to Hellotickets, Paris now returns in the top 3 of another classification: that of the best cities in Europe. Once again this year, Resonance Consultancy, a company specialized in tourism, shared its objective ranking of iconic European cities that must be visited. While Paris still doesn’t top the list, it’s dangerously close. The ranking is based on three major points: attractiveness (tourist attractions, gastronomy, culture, nightlife), quality of life (air quality, green spaces, health and housing accessibility) and economic prosperity (education level, economic strength, etc.).
At the top of the ranking we find London, which despite a high cost of living and a stressful pace, holds first place for the 3rd consecutive year. Right behind is our beloved City of Light, often criticized but never equaled. Next comes Berlin, still and always appreciated for its unique nightlife. The top 5 ends with Barcelona followed by the Italian capital, the Eternal City, known for its historic landmarks that make it an open-air museum, as well as its typical cuisine that everyone agrees on. In sixth place, we find another Spanish city: Madrid, which offers its visitors a festive yet relaxing atmosphere, with numerous rooftops where soaking up the sun has never been more enjoyable. We then leave the sun to head north, with Amsterdam in 7th place, followed by Vienna, Prague and Stockholm in tenth place.
