5 things to do in Paris this weekend

From 18th to 20th April

5 things to do in Paris this weekend From 18th to 20th April

In the blink of an eye, the week is coming to an end, and the Easter weekend is just around the corner. At the same time, spring has made a grand return to put an end to our winter woes. It’s time to enjoy the mild temperatures and the longer days by venturing out of your cocoon. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to suit all tastes. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.

Where to eat: At Paloma Belleville

Paloma is the kind of neighborhood bistro we all dream of, sitting on the corner of a quiet street in Belleville since 2021. At the helm are Marie-Anna Delgado in the kitchen and Olivia Brunet in the dining room — two friends who met at the Beaux-Arts of Paris and wanted to create a space in their image: simple, warm, and unpretentious. Marie-Anna, who previously worked at Le Dindon en Laisse, offers seasonal cuisine inspired by her Catalan roots and her love for raw ingredients. Olivia, trained in woodworking, designed a minimalistic and raw decor, with brown tiling, scraped walls, and bistro-style furniture, with a special attention to detail. At lunchtime, the €16 starter-main-dessert menu delights the neighborhood, with generous, affordable, and well-balanced plates. In the evening, the atmosphere livens up with small plates to share. All paired with carefully selected natural wines. At Paloma, the food is good, the drinks are great, and most importantly — you’ll come back.

To discover: The Dizonord clearance sale

This weekend, between two v60s and an art opening, there’s an urgent stop to make: the Dizonord clearance sale is back at Vinyle Ludique to delight the hip crowd of Northeast Paris. Over 5,000 records will be available, ranging from funk to field recording, including rap, rock, house, and Japanese ambient. Prices are decreasing: €50 for 15 vinyls on Friday, 20 on Saturday, and 25 on Sunday. Additionally, there’s a special bin with Japanese pressings at €10 each. Selected by the Financial Times as one of the world’s best record stores, Dizonord continues to champion a sharp yet accessible approach to vinyl. Entry is free, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., don’t miss it!

Where to have fun: At Hôtel de La Marine for an XXL Easter egg hunt

Easter is here, so forget the brunches and Jesus: the real stars of this weekend are definitely the eggs hidden all over the city. For the occasion, the Hôtel de la Marine is hosting a heritage-sized egg hunt, right between melted chocolate and a cultural stroll. Kids go hunting for eggs while the adults enjoy the setting. A great plan to book fast, as spots are limited — and so are the eggs.

Where to shop: At Eugenix Store

In the Marais, the shop windows speak volumes: Prada, Miu Miu, Stone Island, and Armani archives — here, vintage has found its cathedral. Eugenix, once nomadic with its pop-ups, is now rooted in the golden triangle of curated shops. You’ll find sought-after Y2K pieces, bags and furs full of stories, and especially those boots that look straight out of a 2003 coming-of-age film. An intimate, warm boutique that’s totally in tune with the times — where fashion nostalgia is expressed just right.

Where to party: With Kaytranada at Wanderlust

Starting tonight, one of Paris’ most iconic terraces wakes up from its winter slumber — and it’s not coming back alone. To kick things off, this Saturday, Kaytranada hits the Left Bank for a highly anticipated afterparty, just a few hours after blowing the roof off Bercy. From 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., he’ll turn Wanderlust into a steamy, smooth dancefloor, joined by Sango, Lou Phelps, and Pomo. Soul, R&B, electro: everything you need to melt the year’s first ice. Spoiler alert: the event is nearly sold out.
