Stone Island opens a new chapter of its project “COMMUNITY AS A FORM OF RESEARCH” by presenting the new SS’026 campaign. The dialogue between Stone Island and its wide community continues under the banner of growth, innovation and cultural exchange.

Stone Island portrays the diversity of its community and, to do so, chooses as protagonists of the new launch personalities such as musicians Joe James and Mike Skinner, football legend Paolo Maldini, professional MMA fighter Chito Vera, artist and designer Garance Vallée and Hi-Fi audio designer Shivas. The narrative continues through the portraits of actor Cha Seung-won and artist and singer, Latin Grammy winner, Feid, followed by those of musician and record producer A. G. Cook, actor Charlie Hunnam and finally DJ YUVIE.

The outstanding cast reinterprets the brand’s iconic garments, united by the white background typical of Stone Island. Each image is accompanied by a series of questions conceived by Hans Ulrich Obrist, tailored to the new protagonists of “COMMUNITY AS A FORM OF RESEARCH”.

The campaign not only celebrates the innovative contribution, in terms of savoir-faire, materials and performance of Stone Island garments, but also takes the shape of a cultural manifesto, where multiple creative visions converge, giving life to powerful images: the portraits bear the signature of photographer David Sims, while the styling is by Max Pearmain and the creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi.

The new SS’026 campaign by Stone Island builds an ecosystem of voices, thoughts and visions, whose core values are innovation, quality and community. In this creative short circuit an idea of community takes shape, never definitive, which through its garments proposes tools for research and for relating to the present.
