To truly understand the cultural impact of the Soccer shoe, we must go back in time, when Dirk Bikkembergs chose to take fashion beyond its traditional boundaries, making football his field of experimentation. In 2001, he presented the Spring/Summer collection directly at the San Siro stadium, transforming the arena into a runway and definitively merging two previously separate worlds. In those years, Bikkembergs did something no one had dared to do before: making the footballer an aesthetic and symbolic figure — the new male model.

The real turning point came in 2005 with the purchase of F.C. Fossombrone, a small club in the Marche region that was transformed into a true research lab. The kits became tools of communication, the athletes’ bodies an extension of the brand’s vision. This is how the first Bikkembergs football boots were born, including the iconic BIX.
