Camper and Issey Miyake's first collaboration. Entitled “Peu Form”
For the FW25 season, Camper presents Peu Form, its first collaboration with ISSEY MIYAKE. The project is signed by Satoshi Kondo, current creative director of the brand, who once again combines technical innovation and organic aesthetics in a collaboration that represents the meeting of two creative worlds, distinct yet aligned: on one hand, the conceptual experimentation of ISSEY MIYAKE, on the other, Camper’s functional and contemporary approach. The result is a footwear collection that merges aesthetics, comfort, and sustainability. The starting point of the Peu Form collection is ISSEY MIYAKE’s iconic “a piece of cloth” concept, the idea of creating from a single piece of fabric. This philosophy has been reinterpreted by Kondo in the world of footwear, exploring how a single material can wrap the foot in a natural and harmonious way. The design is inspired by Camper’s historic Peu line, reimagined with a more fluid, sensual, and almost sculptural language.
The collection offers two versatile models designed to suit every lifestyle: a transformable shoe that can also be worn as a mule, ideal for those seeking flexibility and practicality; and an ankle boot with a soft, enveloping structure, designed to fit like a second skin, ensuring comfort and freedom of movement. Both models stand out for their unstructured construction and ability to adapt to the unique shape of each foot, while being easily foldable and convenient for storage or transport. All models are made from soft, high-quality Italian leather sourced from premium tanneries. Comfort is further enhanced by a polyurethane (PU) footbed combined with a 20% recycled TPU outsole, offering performance with reduced environmental impact. The color palette includes four shades: black and white for a clean, refined style, Klein blue as a nod to artistic aesthetics, and Camper’s signature red, recognizable and iconic.
