Sarah Rose Smiley con solo quindici anni ha iniziato a pubblicare le sue foto sul suo sito “Scheherezade”, il quale nome è stato ispirato dai racconti di "Shahrazad", il narratore del 1001 Arabian Nights. Infatti lei stessa é diventata una narratrice che con le sue fotografie racconta storie di viaggi e persone. Sarah ha 18 anni e viene dal Wisconsin. La fotografia è uno strumento che manovra con estrema scioltezza, regalandoci immagini che raccontano le sue influenze e i suoi gusti, molto improntati sul mondo della moda e della pubblicità, ma con qualche nota sognante che le rende meno patinate e fredde. Adora tutto quello che é bello e preferisce fotografare con la luce naturale, che rende le sue foto molto naturali e delicate.

Sarah Rose Smiley began to publish her photographs with only fifteen years. The name of her website "Scheherezade", was inspired by the tales of “Scheherezade” the storyteller of 1001 Arabian Nights. In fact she’s become the storyteller herself taking us on a journey as we click through the various section of her portfolio, telling stories about people and places. Sarah is 18 years old and originally from Wisconsin. Her images show us Sarah´s influences and tastes, marked very much on the world of fashion and advertising, but with her dreamy and sensible touch.
