Tuesday evening at the party in the Diesel flagship store in Piazza San Babila Milan met the Milan half-Milan. There was Mister Gattuso, captain Romagnoli and other Milan players for the launch party of the official off pitch collection made for the third consecutive year by Diesel.
We at nss magazine were at the party and we had a chat with Andrea Rosso - Creative Director for Diesel licenses - about Milan, football and fashion.

How was working for your favorite team both from the point of view of fans and professionals?

As a child - during the '80s and' 90s - I lived in the Milan of the Dutch, the first of the Berlusconi era, it is there that my bond with the team was born.
Now - I'm 40 - I remain a passionate fan, certainly the professional relationship with the club made me discover certain things that otherwise I would not have understood. I like to see the behind the scene of a club as big and emblazoned as Milan, the organization is very complicated.
If I had to sum up the experience I would say beautiful, I thought it would had been much more difficult.

What was the biggest challenge for creating the AC Milan capsule collection?

You know, it's hard to have a direct approach with a football team, you have to be precise to the millimeter.
In the technical part they were very good and demanding. Then there are the players, many of them already know what they want, they have a personal style, so they also gave us some very interesting input.

Who is the most stylish football player of AC Milan?

I like Suso and the captain Alessio Romagnoli, he is clean and elegant.

And your favorite on the pitch?

I like Suso, I hope Higuain returns because the team needs it. I was very sorry to greet Bonucci, but maybe it was destiny, in football it works like this.

What's your vision about the relationship between football and fashion today and how will it evolve in the next 10 years?

Football is fashion-conscious, every footballer has his own and in a team of more than thirty people, it is normal that it is difficult to get everyone to agree. With Diesel, we have broken the pattern of the classic uniform with the tie, following this line which is also what is happening in the world. The concept of the collection aims to bring together fans, clubs and footballers, to speak the same language. The inspiration comes from the street, I think that in the future it will happen more and the graphics will play an increasingly important role in the coming years with more lively elements.

Given the recent acquisition of Vicenza Calcio: between the fields of Europe that falls in Milan and those of the province which do you prefer?

I must confess that to the Menti (the stadium of Vicenza, ed) I still have to go there, I used to hang out when I was a kid. Vicenza is a welcoming city and has a warm support, it lives the historicity and the icons that have passed through the club. "Fiera" is the right word, and it is an aspect that is being lost where there are corporate structures.
