Jacquemus and Timberland are up to something
And a little bird tells us that this something will be out of stock very quickly
April 11th, 2025
After a successful collaboration with Nike and years of incorporating not only sportswear but also workwear elements into its collections, Jacquemus now unveils a collaboration that steps away from the usual Provençal paths to land on American soil. Indeed, the French Maison is teaming up with Timberland in a collaboration that will likely stray far from the slingbacks or even the Double Pumps Simon Porte Jacquemus has accustomed us to. After a capsule collection with Louis Vuitton last July, it seems Timberland has firmly entered the luxury fashion scene and has no intention of stepping back anytime soon.
This marks the very first collaboration between Jacquemus and Timberland, although the two brands share common interests and even similar aesthetics when you think about it. Besides the fact that Timberland’s iconic boots fit perfectly into the color palette that defines Jacquemus, both brands’ boat shoes, Simon Porte Jacquemus’s love for silhouettes and workwear patterns, and their ability to form renowned partnerships all suggest this collaboration was destined to happen and to be a success. Arriving discreetly, with no major announcement or loud publicity, the collaboration quietly takes its place on the fashion scene at the start of April, revealed through an Instagram story where Jacquemus presents a co-branded box printed with Timberland’s stylized tree logo and Jacquemus lettering. While no images of the model or campaign have been released and the mystery surrounding the pair’s aesthetics still lingers, the possibilities are endless—especially knowing Simon Porte Jacquemus and his brilliantly creative mind.
