The new partnership between PUMA and PLEASURES begins with a silhouette that channels the visual codes of Y2K culture, the Velophasis. The collaboration aims to fuse PLEASURES' understanding of the subcultural codes of music with the latest retro-futuristic trainers from PUMA. The Velophasis was first unveiled in January, with an exaggerated shape covered in a mix of technical and performance materials. Now, the sneaker has been relaunched with a distinctive, custom feel thanks to a purple overdyeing process applied by PLEASURES. The color treatment adheres to the sole in a unique way, giving the sneaker a pre-worn look. The over-dyeing covers the entire shoe, from the laces to the sole, giving the collaboration a DIY feel. This new version of the Velophasis also features a purple-coloured translucent cage with the PLEASURES logo embossed in black.
