Gucci announces first show without Alessandro Michele It will open Milan Fashion Week on January 13

Gucci's new chapter begins immediately: the brand has announced a new show for January 13, at the opening of Milan Fashion Week. It will be the first exclusively men's in three years and, most importantly, it will be the first without Alessandro Michele. As no official successor has been named, the collection is expected to be signed by the brand's design team-but it could still hint at the brand's next aesthetic direction. It remains likely, however, that, as in the case of Louis Vuitton's collections designed by Virgil Abloh's team, the collection will not represent a decisive break with the past but may certainly give a hint of the kind of timeless approach François Pinault requested from the brand a few months ago.

Elsewhere, the men's week calendar sees the return of JW Anderson, the Milan runway debut of Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Marco de Vincenzo's menswear debut with Etro as well as the usual appointments with Fendi, Prada, Armani, Zegna, 1017 Alyx 9SM and MSGM. Among the events and presentations, the collaboration of Marni and Carhartt WIP and the collaboration between The Woolmark Company and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli will be revealed to the public; in addition, Carlo Sestini will launch his eponymous brand, while Iuter and Colmar will celebrate their respective anniversaries with Colmar expected to announce a special collaboration still shrouded in mystery at the moment.
