Burberry reveals its FW20 Pre-Collection campaign The shots by Danco Steiner play with the concept of duality

Burberry's FW20 Pre-Collection campaign explores the concept of duality. In the shots signed by Danco Steiner, the protagonists of the lookbook, Irina Shayk and Reece Nelson, models of Riccardo Tisci's crew, interact, as in a game of mirrors, with their own lookalike. Here's how Tisci, the brand's creative director, commented on the campaign:

I have always been drawn to the notion of duality and viewing things from two perspectives - bringing a depth and contrast to a person or a concept. This campaign explores this idea of mirroring, a theme which I established as a house code in the new Burberry identity.

Like the campaign, the pre-collection garments have two souls, hovering between past and present. Tisci continues to develop its vision of the British brand by revisiting the archival models with always new twists. The result is silhouettes and codes that evolve, acquiring proportions and new combinations such as the iconic check superimposed on camouflage and quilting made more vibrant by bold colours. In the feminine version, the trench coat, always an iconic piece of Burberry, is made of jersey, made special by fringes and graffiti prints. It brings everything from quilted skirts to blazers, from dresses to jumpsuits, from silk shirt to tailored trousers. Even for the man the item retains its versatile soul and remains a must-have to match with suits, shirts, cargo shorts or hoodies. Completing the looks sported by Shayk and Nelson are accessories such as the new TB Bag and Pocket Bag series.

Burberry's FW20 Pre-Collection is available for purchase online and at select Burberry boutiques around the world.
