Kanye West: I know what it means to want to commit suicide The rapper confesses to Twitter after watching a documentary on the life of Alexander McQueen

"I saw the Alexander McQueen documentary and I connected with his journey. I know how it feels to want to take your life back into your own hands even if it means taking your own life".

With these words Kanye West confesses to Twitter after having looked at the project on the life of the brilliant designer who took his life in 2010.

“To make this clear and not weird” - Kim Kardashian's husband continues - "yes, I’ve had these kinds of thoughts and I’m going to tell you things I’ve done to stay in a content place. How to NOT kill yourself pt 1: avoid being around people who make you want to kill yourself”.

It is not the first time that Kanye speaks of depression and suicidal thoughts, which, accumulated to a strong nervous breakdown, had forced in 2016 the star to a hospitalization, during which he was diagnosed with a bipolar spectrum disorder.

In an interview with the New York Times last June, the artist said

"I’ve thought about killing myself all the time. It’s always a option. Like Louis C.K. said, I flip through the manual. I weigh all the options. Now I'm fine because in the end I did not do it. But I thought about it seriously and in depth. If I had not reflected on this possibility, there would have been more chances that it had happened."

Since he officially returned to Twitter, West has often posted memories of that dark period, allowing glimpses to improve his condition.

We hope that the recent news according to which the father, Ray West, is plagued by a prostate tumor, not hurl Kanye another time  into the abyss of depression.
