Paris’ hottest food spot is back in Belleville After a successful first edition, the Spicy Food Market is back to turn up the heat
Set in a neighborhood where diverse culinary influences meet -from China’s Sichuan region to northern Vietnam and Laos- the Spicy Food Market® aims to delight every palate, from the mildest to the boldest. Located on Boulevard de Belleville, between Ménilmontant and Couronnes stations, this pop-up market promises an evening-long culinary journey, featuring dozens of stalls where daring food challenges will be taken on by thrill-seeking gourmets.
On the savory side, chili takes center stage in all its forms. Bang Bang will serve wings inspired by Hot Ones, with multiple heat levels, from mild to super spicy. Pezzopane will reinvent its paninis with a fiery twist, while Rôtisserie Segar will offer hot versions of its signature sandwiches for the occasion. Oté will warm taste buds with a generous rougail sausage dish. And while the savory side packs the heat, the Spicy Food Market also turns up the spice on dessert. Miliki will feature a chocolate-chili cake, while Craving Cookies will challenge the bravest with a Russian roulette of surprise desserts.
Open to all, just like a traditional market, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the Spicy Food Market welcomes both chili lovers and curious newcomers. More than just a food event, this evening invites attendees to rediscover chili beyond its fiery reputation and explore the full aromatic richness of this extraordinary ingredient.
