Marni and Madhappy have launched a new collab for World Mental Health Day “Heart to heart” unites Milan and Los Angeles

On the occasion of the World Mental Health Day, two creative worlds that seem far apart come together to beat in unison. Marni and Madhappy present Heart To Heart, an unprecedented collaboration intertwining fashion, emotion, and awareness, composed of fifteen pieces including hoodies, T-shirts, and accessories. The capsule was designed to celebrate individuality and emotional well-being, themes that both brands have long embraced through different yet kindred languages. The color palette includes bright red, deep black, lavender, and mint green, a contrast that reflects the complexity of the human experience, while the graphics, co-designed by the two brands, embody Marni’s playful DNA and Madhappy’s sunny, optimistic Californian approach. Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, the brand draws inspiration from a positive ideology expressed through clothing, events, and experimental retail spaces around the world. With this new collaboration, Madhappy lands in Milan with a project rich in meaning on a special day.

From the encounter between Marni and Madhappy comes a unique vision built on sartorial and artisanal details. The hoodies feature Madhappy’s signature hand stitching, while the baseball caps showcase contrasting seams inspired by Marni. The apparel is joined by a pair of unique home items: a blanket and an incense set created in collaboration with Japanese brand KUUMBA International, symbols of calm and introspection. Every design element of this capsule speaks to care and human connection, two values also reflected in the brands’ decision to amplify the message of World Mental Health Day beyond the collection itself. All net profits from MarnixMadhappy will be donated equally to OTB Foundation and The Madhappy Foundation to support initiatives promoting mental well-being within local and global communities. Founded in 2006, OTB Foundation has already had a direct impact on the lives of more than 380,000 people worldwide through projects combining sustainability and social innovation. On the other hand, the Madhappy Foundation was established in 2021 to normalize the conversation around mental health, allocating 1% of the brand’s sales to research and awareness programs.
