New school year, same evocative minimalism for Courrèges The French brand returns with a new colorful campaign

New school year, new campaign for Courrèges: the French brand, its creative director Nicolas Di Felice, American artist Dan Colen and the Sky High Farm Biennial have chosen to join forces at the beginning of September in a particularly colorful campaign. Devoid of models and products, the campaign includes only a large white background, sprinkled with multicolored confetti reminiscent of those that already covered the floor of the Carreau du Temple last March while the FW25 collection unfolded before our eyes. In a tribute to Moments Like This Never Last, a vivid artwork by Dan Colen that greatly inspired Di Felice not only in designing FW25 but also in its scenography, the campaign aims to be a communication tool, which, even without a product, is a fluid and direct dialogue with the contemporary, fleeting moment.

A dialogue without hook and without words that nonetheless easily embodies the central philosophy of Courrèges’ FW25: the search for lightness as a unifying force. Light as a confetti yet heavy with meaning, the campaign is also for Di Felice a way to offer his audience and the world a different perspective, in a world and an industry where desire and consumption are the priority. Through this idea of dizziness and collectivity, Courrèges and its creative director present advertising from a new angle. “Courrèges reclaims the commercial space as a canvas of hope, proving that, even in our difficult moments, joy, memory and wonder remain shared acts of resistance,” explains the brand. The campaign also supports the first edition of the Sky High Farm Biennial (June–September 2025, Germantown, NY), an artistic initiative led by Dan Colen and the Sky High Farm community, in a collaboration demonstrating how artistic and organizational forces can create meaningful experiences, while generating essential funds for food sovereignty and climate solutions.
