On June 16 in Florence, LuisaViaRoma, THEBS.com, and Camera Buyer announced the creation of the first Italian luxury marketplace. In fact, although Italian retailers have significantly contributed to the management of luxury heritage, the latter has always remained predominantly abroad. "This is an industrial project, not a marketing operation. LVR becomes a strategic infrastructure to unite what has always been fragmented: boutiques, brands, territories. […] And we are finally giving Italy the role it deserves in digital fashion as well," said LuisaViaRoma CEO Tommaso Maria Andorlini.

The identity of the boutiques will not be lost, but each of them will finally benefit from a new shared network focused on sustainability: this is a strategic pact for the future of Italian fashion. In the first phase of the project, a selection of partner boutiques will take place, followed by the introduction of additional B2B services, including competitive intelligence, logistics, and support for international expansion. Thus, LuisaViaRoma, a pioneer in fashion e-commerce for over twenty years, finds itself at the heart of a turning point, evolving from a pure digital retailer into a strategic enabling platform with global visibility.
