The Luka Sabbat x Champion 100th Anniversary collab

Champion is 100 years old and celebrates this important anniversary by launching a worldwide campaign called "For the Team". Luka Sabbat will be the official face of the campaign together with a group of young people who are part of Art Start, a non-profit organization that offers New York youth a space of expression for their creativity. The central theme of the campaign is team spirit and the results that a united team can achieve. Sabbat will also sign the graphics of a limited edition capsule.

The graphic created by Sabbat was inspired by the "Emerging Artists" program of Art Start and the creative people who are part of it. It consists of two elements: the front one represents the colored tomography of a brain together with the Champion logo, while the one on the back bears the Sabbat signature along with a quote from him that reflects the thinking of New York creative on the dynamics between individual fantasy and teamwork: 

“Imagination comes easy to the individual, but the creativity to make it happen takes teamwork”.

Team spirit has been for a century the founding value of a brand that has always worked in a field, the sporting one, where the greatest successes are the result of a collective effort. Champion's Global Brand Marketing director, David Robertson, said he was very excited about the collaboration and said:

"We worked with so many teams during the year, but Luka's project in collaboration with Art Start gives us a new perspective on the meaning of team culture. [...] This partnership allows us to conclude our first century in a big way, and start planning the next one. "
