A way to discover the places that inspired the brand in over 90 years of history

Gucci presents its new travel app “Gucci Places” A way to discover the places that inspired the brand in over 90 years of history

Alessandro Michele’s new project for Gucci?

Gucci Places, an application that allows users to discover the public and private places that inspired the brand’s aesthetic, but also reflecting the taste and values of the brand.

Thanks to the geolocation service, Gucci Places is a virtual and cultural journey through the inspiration that gave birth, in 96 years of history of the house, to collections and projects, can become a real guide. In fact, when a user is near a “Gucci Place”, he will receive a notification that invites him to visit the site.

Once inside the place, the app will allow you to sign in, get a badge (different for each location and collectibles) and access to a detailed description of the place, with texts, images, and a special video.

First stop? In England, Derbyshire, Chatsworth House, set for the campaign of the Cruise17 collection with actress Vanessa Redgrave and for House Style, showing precious clothes and memorabilia curated by Hamish Bowles, International Editor-at-Large of Vogue America.

To celebrate the launch of Gucci Place, the Florentine label has produced a unique range of articles from the Gucci Courrier collection on which Chatsworth and Gucci Places patches have been applied. All products will be sold, from mid-July, exclusively in the Chatsworth House store and at the Gucci’s Sloan Street store in London.
