How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?

This new daily routine has basically balanced the real-life and the digital one: now I spend half the time living the “normal” life the other half on skype, on social media, playing videogames online. It looks like this whole situation, rather than changing drastically what we are used to, accelerated changes that were already in place. I have to say that I have always liked staying at home, but I admit I miss that beautiful Italian Spring when you can go out, stay out all day eating and having aperitivo with friends, playing soccer and just enjoy the amazing sunshine and the mild temperature. So now I am trying to compensate it with my digital life: I have just bought a new VR set and it is amazing how much the technology evolved since the last time I was using them, 2 or 3 years ago. So, I am living part of my life in a virtual world, now. But not all of it…300KB of spaghetti do not work anyway.

What is your soundtrack?

I always wake up with a different song in my head, and from that song I create the playlist for the day, jumping from one genre to its exact opposite. I might wake up singing Bamboleo by the Gipsy Kings and end the day listening to Low Roar’s last album. Another day I might wake up thinking about a song by Jamiroquai and then end up listening to Kalabrese. This morning I had Mambo n.5 by Lou Bega in my head…the day is not yet over so I am not sure where it is going to take me!
