The automotive world and golf have more in common than you would expect. These similarities are even more prominent when speaking of  Jaguar Land Rover Italia which has not only reached the milestone of 35 years of its Golf Challenge in 2020, now a popular reference point among amateur circuits for its prestige, but has also renewed it with a 36th edition that will start on June 2nd at the Golf del Ducato - La Rocca (PR) and will continue until October with 18 stages throughout the national territory and will see passionate golfers compete on the courses of the most exclusive Italian clubs. Golf has an important value for both Jaguar and Land Rover and represents the tangible essence of both brands: tradition, sports elegance, style, determination but also respect for nature and the environment. 

Pending the new edition of the tournament, a few days ago the national final of the 2020 Golf Challenge was held in Borgo Egnazia – an occasion during which the Jaguar Land Rover Golf Vision Strategy 2021 was presented. The plan will continue the strategy already launched by Jaguar Land Rover Italia but also provides for a 360° expansion of the golf activities of both brands. To support and give relevance to amateur competitions, Jaguar Land Rover Italia will be sponsor of a series of golf circuits such as the ILGA - Italian Ladies Golf Association Tournament, dedicated to the women's world;  the CEO Club, the only circuit in Italy reserved for Chief Executive Officers, Presidents, Board Members; and the Mid Amateur Circuit, which brings together former national players. The strategy also includes the involvement of prominent figures and athletes – especially the two young talents of the green Francesco Laporta and Renato Paratore. The athletes, Golf ambassador Jaguar, drive the sporty Jaguar F-Type, one of the most representative cars of the iconic Jaguar brand.

To support the young emerging talents of the discipline, jaguar Land Rover Italia has become a partner of U.S Kids Golf, an association that promotes the discipline among young beginners and their families. While to increase its presence in the main golf clubs, the company has partnered with ten golf clubs that will be characterized by the denomination By Jaguar Land Rover and will be totally branded in the club area and on the race track. A strategy with a very wide range that the president of Jaguar Land Rover Italia, Daniele Mayer, commented as follows:
