How did the Edicola Italiana launch event go? nss edicola's first ever free newspaper

Yesterday, April 19, the nss edicola community gathered in Piazza Bruno Buozzi in Milan to celebrate the launch of the first free press Edicola Italiana. Edicola Italiana is conceived as a journey across Italy, bringing together different experiences between historic newsstands that have endured for decades and those that in recent years have found new forms of regeneration, transforming into hybrid spaces between retail, culture, and sociality. The narrative unfolds between archival imagery and contemporary productions, paired with editorial texts and reflections written by some of the most relevant voices in Italian publishing, such as Beppe Cottafavi and Lucy. Sulla Cultura. For the occasion, the square filled up like never before, thanks to the support of Peroni with the new Peroncino and DJ sets by Simone de Kunovich and R.ocks, with a sound curated by Polifonic.
