Nobody can party in Coachella like GUESS does For the fifth consecutive year, the brand is the undisputed king of the festival
When the desert of Indio lights up with lights and sounds, and the best music from around the world gathers there for the world's most famous festival, it's best to arrive prepared. Coachella has been for over a decade the synonym of a dream, a world made of palm trees, pools and music where youth culture meets the world of celebrities and above all where Spring Break seems to last forever. And no one manages to capture the essence of Coachella as GUESS has done this year. For the fifth consecutive year, the brand has made its triumphant return to the valley, relaunching the GUESS Desert Compound: a private experience among the most exclusive of the entire weekend, a true immersive cultural stage where fashion, music, art and community merge into one unforgettable vibration.
Creating what is essentially a small village in perfect harmony with the landscape, capable of offering the brand's guests an experience of this scale, is not just a logistical operation but a statement of dominance on the scene, the manifestation of a brand that with this experience demonstrates not only to know the playing field but to have become its undisputed master. Through its Desert Compound, GUESS wanted to create a space capable of redefining the role of fashion in contemporary culture, telling itself and its core values through experience and community. It's no longer about telling a story, but about making it lived in first person.
Located inside a luxurious private estate in Indio, California, the compound hosted a curated community of global tastemakers, artists and long-standing brand collaborators. Among the 2026 residents were absolute celebrities such as Oscar-winning actress Teyana Taylor, A$AP Nast, Evan Mock and Bretman Rock, along with newcomers Amelia Gray Hamlin, Delilah Belle Hamlin, True Whitaker and many others. Each name was chosen for its ability to embody the spirit of GUESS through its authenticity, always personal style and innate ability to interpret and represent the taste of the moment. For 2026, the renowned Japanese graphic artist VERDY returned to reimagine the visual universe of GUESS, transforming the entire compound with his unmistakable style, reinterpreting the iconic GUESS triangle and creating an exclusive merch capsule with his character Visty, available only to on-site guests.
Now in its fifth year, the GUESS Desert Compound has become the catalyst for a broader evolution of the brand that arrives at Coachella this year strengthened by a series of strategic moves that are shaping its future, including the 2026 strategic partnership with Authentic Brands Group. All steps that signal a profound transformation in an iconic brand that does not just want to participate in culture, but to shape it. At the center of this evolution is Nicolai Marciano, Chief Business Development Officer, whose vision pushes the brand beyond the product to transform it into experience-led storytelling. «What five years ago was born as a strategic idea to bring our community together in the desert has evolved into a living expression of our brand's identity. Every year we challenge ourselves to build a world that feels personal, immersive and unexpected. Returning for the fifth year is not only a milestone: it reflects the global community that continues to grow with us and define what GUESS represents», he told the press.
Throughout the weekend, the compound offered exclusive access to private services, parties, creative moments and wellness programs designed to recharge the residents. On Thursday, April 9th, new arrivals were welcomed with an intimate dinner by Shoku, the Los Angeles private dining concept specializing in Japanese fusion cuisine. Every day, the Camden Café powered by La La Land served coffee and matcha, while the wellness program elevated the concept of relaxation with IV therapies, B12 shots, cold plunge, sauna, red light therapy and on-site massages. The best that the modern lifestyle industry has to offer. But these moments were only a prologue to the real action: the legendary GUESS parties.
On Friday of the first festival weekend, GUESS brought incredible names to the decks including Kaytranada, Rodaidh McDonald, D33J and Sophie Gray while photographer Myles Hendrick captured the best moments of the party. On Sunday, the grand finale arrived: GUESS and SP5DER closed the weekend with a private party dedicated to the most famous VIPs: from Travis Scott and Ty Dolla $ign to Leonardo DiCaprio, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jennie, Damson Idris, Cara Delevingne, Emma Roberts, Tyga, Fai Khadra, Paris Hilton and Emma Chamberlain, among others. Guests danced all night long sipping premium PATRÓN Tequila cocktails served in the exclusive desert-inspired Collector’s Cup and toasting with Hennessy Espresso Martini. To keep the energy high until dawn, the SONIC food truck offered refreshers and snacks right at the entrance.
In five years, ten parties and a connection with Coachella that has made the brand the very synonym of the festival, the GUESS Desert Compound has become a true cultural institution that has managed to go far beyond the concept of a simple activation to condense all the best that Coachella has to offer and above all all the best of the lifestyle that an iconic festival like this represents: a dream of wellness, lifestyle and authenticity that becomes real twice a year at Coachella but can become real every time you wear GUESS. What was born as a strategic idea has transformed into a new type of connection with the world of culture, a point of reference that defines the tone not only of Coachella but of the entire cultural landscape of the world of music festivals for all the young people in the world.
