Trashy clothing and Olive Odyssey collaborate in an ode to Palestine and its craftsmanship In the form of a unique and limited edition bottle of olive oil
In the most difficult times, human beings often turn to two of the few things that can never be taken away: human connection and creation. It is in homage to these two fundamental values that today marks the launch of the collaboration between Trashy Clothing and Olive Odyssey, two key players in the Palestinian creative scene, paying tribute to the Holy Land, its history, and the richness its soil continues to offer. A union born in the form of a limited-edition bottle of certified organic Rumi olive oil from Anza, near Jenin in Palestine, blending fashion and gastronomy, connecting cultivation to creation, and highlighting the ties between people, places, and creative expression.
In addition to its beautiful bottle decorated with a label showcasing a hand-embroidered piece created by a team of embroiderers from the Gaza Camp in Jerash, the oil stands out for its clarity, bright green flavor, and the intensity characteristic of early-harvest Rumi olives. The campaign, photographed by Omar Sha3, highlights the “Bahhar”, the Palestinian sailor—a figure symbolizing travel but above all storytelling, the sharing of narratives across lands and seas, thus representing the journey of the olive oil from village soil to the hands of the public around the world. Supported by Trashy Clothing’s “anti-luxury luxury” fashion touch and Olive Odyssey’s gastronomic expertise, the collaboration celebrates the know-how, craftsmanship, and agriculture of Palestine in a unique narrative “shaped by land, labor, and shared memory.” The project is already available on the websites of Trashy Clothing and Olive Odyssey, just in time for the holiday season and as a last-minute gift idea to place under the tree.
