Casablanca's latest campaign brings sunshine to winter blues
If we don’t know yet where our next vacation will take us, we already know what we’ll be wearing
January 20th, 2025
As the January temperatures bite our cheeks and bring a wave of melancholy to our hearts and homes, reminding us of the colorful and carefree life we led under the sun just a few months ago, Casablanca arrives to pull us out of the gray and gloom. The inspiration behind the brand's latest campaign is crystal clear: with shades of blue, palm trees, sarongs, and Hawaiian shirts, the few snapshots captured in a Californian-inspired setting transport us straight to summer in the blink of an eye, even before we have time to pack our bags. Ranging from menswear to womenswear, kids' clothing, and accessories, the campaign presents a complete collection that stands on its own.
From visors and bucket hats to protect from the sun, tennis rackets for beach fun, silk scarves, and even surfboards, even the accessories have been created to align with the theme of the campaign and, most importantly, meet the needs of vacationers looking for the most stylish full looks for their getaway on the fine sand. As for the clothing, we quickly transition from jersey shorts to summer knitwear for men, and from a turquoise silk set to a mermaid dress in sunset colors for women. The swimwear ranges from bikinis in various prints to one-piece models like Pamela Anderson's, while even the kids are given a plethora of options inspired by the adult designs, in mini versions but just as cool for family vacations. While the cold continues to rage in Paris, this new campaign makes us even more eager to see the sun's rays again. And if we don’t yet know the destination of our next vacation, at least we already know what we’ll be wearing.
