Kenzo's real-to-wear in an exclusive pop-up Pike concept store welcomes new collection designed by Nigo

New exclusive partnership for Tessabit, which opens today, Monday 19 September, the Kenzo Paris pop-up hosted by Pike, the new concept store of the historic retailer of Lake Como, symbol of the union between vintage culture and luxury streetwear. The windows overlooking the old Via Regina, just a few meters from the entrance of Villa d'Este, will feature garments from the Hana Dots capsule designed by Nigo, including the FW22.

«It is an honor for us to present the collection of such a talented designer as Nigo, who I am sure is ready to write a new chapter in the history of the house founded by Kenzo Takana, who has undoubtedly contributed to changing the scenario of global street culture», said Andrea Molteni, CEO of Tessabit. «We have always appreciated and followed Nigo, a cultural icon with a creative language that transcends the fashion world. That's why we decided to seal this new partnership within Pike, our new concept store manifesto of street research and avant-garde, skillfully mixing vintage pieces and luxury maisons, debuting tonight in the territory's boutique portfolio with an exclusive cocktail party that will celebrate Japanese street culture», he concluded.

The new FW22 collection is based on the idea of "real-to-wear" and brings to life a wardrobe where the heritage of the Maison and the contemporary codes of Nigo's creative talents meet. Past and future collide in the Hana Dots collection, which features a white stencil-effect floral pattern printed on Japanese denim workwear, shirts, overshirts, jacquard cardigans and loose-fitting jeans. Through tailoring and workwear in largely gender-neutral silhouettes, Nigo has thus created a premise that unites and transcends conventional dress codes.
