Everything you need to know about The Life of Pablo By Kanye West

#1 Shortly after the publication of the first album's listening - based on the version shared online on Feb. 14 - Kanye West decided to withdraw it from the market to work on new tracks that will be included in the final tracklist.

#2 The birth of the seventh album was very complicated as Kanye, turbulent and contradictory, first announced the album under the title Swish, then modified it in Waves, and entitled it, a few days after, The Life Of Pablo.

#3 The name Pablo could refer to Pablo Picasso, to whom West compared himself during a lectio magistralis at Oxford University last December, or Pablo Escobar - but after his recent tweets we could think more of Apostle Paul.

#4 A few days ago the singer went to Saturday Night Live to perform two of hisnew songs - High Lights and Ultralight Beam - part of the highly anticipated The Life Of Pablo. It is the seventh time in his career that Kanye is a guest of the program to sing live, but this time he showed up with a gospel choir.

#5 The songs that are part of the album have been recorded over 4 years - between 2013 and 2016. Among the countless recording locations there is also Florence. The Life Of Pablo right is currently as follows:

- Ultralight Beam [ft. Chance the Rapper and Kirk Franklin], Kanye speaks about his faith in God, explaining that any time he feels he can no longer fight, he looking for the light of God. The track is enriched from Chance the Rapper’s rap and the incredible voices of Kirk Franklin and Kelly Price which then flow into a euphoric crescendo chorale.

- Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 [ft. Kid Cudi], the first part of the song is taken from a sermon of Pastor TL Barrett, and then quickly switches to the profane, with absurd texts in which Kanye reflects on his past and present relationships - referring to Amber Rose (“I was high When I met her / we was down in Tribeca”).

- Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2 [ft. Designer], in the second part Kanye reflects on family tragedies that have struck him, as his mother's death and the Kanye’s reflection about the decision of his father, Ray West, to abandon him and his mother.

- Famous [ft. Rihanna], is the song that has made issues in recent days as it contains the "outrageous" to Taylor Swift (“I made that bitch famous”). Rihanna takes care of the intro singing the song Do What You Gotta Do by Nina Simone.

- Feedback, we could find this piece in the previous album "yeezus" seen the metal and industrial sounds. The text is not new: it is a tribute to his success.

- Low Lights, a gospel-type intro of the next song Ode to God. Kanye explained in a tweet why he added this song to the album, saying: "I put Lowlights on my album just thinking about all the moms driving kids to they school then going to work “.

- Highlights [ft. Young Thug], a song full of collaborations - Young Thug, El De Barge, The-Dream - including sex nights with Go-Pro and family gossip, the impression is that the disc is all a joke, like a mixtape recorded in free time.

- Freestyle 4 [ft. Desiigner], part with the strings of Goldfrapp - "Human" - which set the atmosphere flawed, powered by the internal dialogue of Kanye, totally altered by drugs, which put him in front of a distorted reality. The atmosphere becomes further ill with the piece of "Death" Mica Levi, from the film Under The Skin.

- I Love Kanye, this short a-cappella brackets is a joke played on its name and on the opinion of some fans disappointed by "Yeezus".

- Waves [ft. Chris Brown], this track was not presented at Madison Square Garden and has delayed the release of the album of two days.

- FML [ft. The Weeknd], the title plays acronym on "Fuck My Life" but also on "For My Lady" and recounts the difficulties to live the couple's fidelity and the other side reflects the feeling of self-destruction.

- Real Friends [ft. Ty Dolla $ ign], Kanye confesses his guilt against old friends and family for some of his "drop style." This song has been part of G.O.O.D. Friday series.

- Wolves [ft. Frank Ocean and Caroline Shaw], also this track explores a wide range of emotions in the life of Kanye, from depression to addiction, from suicide to the hope of loving and external threats - the wolves of the title, in fact.

- Silver Surfer Intermission, is a crazy phone call rather delusional between rapper Max B, French Montana.

- 30 Hours, it is within the G.O.O.D. Fridays and is based on the entire sample of "Answers me” by Arthur Russell. The song is a bonus track, where Kanye thanks the people who have collaborated to the album.

- No More Parties in LA [ft. Kendrick Lamar], piece of pure rap in collaboration with the talented rapper Kendrick Lamar, on the subject of false sweet life of celebrities.

- Facts (Charlie Heat Version), was already out about a month ago with a different beat: it is an instant-song celebrating the success of designed for adidas shoes, which strongly argues with Nike.

- Fade [ft. Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ ign], the closing song, circulating on the Internet for about a year, once again changed the tables by taking two cornerstones of deep house as "Mystery of Love" by Mr. Fingers and "Deep Inside “ by Hardrive and mix it with a classic soul of Rare Earth.
