How D.A.T.E. brought Brera's Vendemmia to life A meeting between Tuscan tradition and contemporary design
On the occasion of the fifteenth edition of La Vendemmia, the event that from October 6 to 12 animates Brera and the Fashion Quadrilateral with initiatives dedicated to oenology and style, the flagship store of D.A.T.E. in Via Ponte Vetero 11 hosted a special event last October 9. The initiative, named "Vendemmia 2025", fits into this collective program, reinterpreting the rite of grape harvesting through the lenses of the Tuscan brand, with a focus on origins and artisanal processes. The event recalls the roots of D.A.T.E. in Tuscany, documented through a photographic service carried out at the Castello di Coiano, a historic winery near the brand's headquarters. This context, characterized by landscape and cultural elements, provides the cue for a narrative that connects agricultural seasonality to fashion production, maintaining a balanced approach between heritage and contemporaneity.
To celebrate the event, the brand has created an exclusive capsule collection that includes a series of ivory-toned t-shirts with the "Vendemmia 2025" logo in bordeaux, accompanied by a selection of sneakers, clothing, and accessories from the Fall/Winter 2025 line. The prevailing colors, namely earthy reds, dark greens, and neutral beiges, reflect the shades of autumnal vineyards, in line with the oenological themes of the broader event. A shared aspect between oenology and fashion is the role of time: the harvest, like the creation of a D.A.T.E. product, involves phases of waiting and attention, from the selection of materials to the study of shapes and details.
"This collaboration with the Castello di Coiano extends beyond photography, representing an alignment on territorial values that serve as a basis for inspiration", observes Francesco Bozzi, brand manager of D.A.T.E. The event transformed the store into a vibrant hub, with musical backgrounds and tastings of wines from the Tuscan cellar, ideal for networking and authentic exchanges. It is not an isolated episode: this debut marks the start of a lasting collaboration between D.A.T.E. and Castello di Coiano, with plans for future initiatives that will intertwine oenology, design, and locality in innovative ways, opening up scenarios of creative contaminations throughout 2026.
