5 things to do in Milan this weekend

5 things to do in Milan this weekend From March 28th until the 30th

The sun is once again shining high in the sky over Milan, and the city suddenly feels revived, having rediscovered its beauty. With bikes speeding through the streets and coats now tucked away in the depths of the closet, this Sunday also brings the arrival of daylight saving time, meaning the sun will set an hour later. With temperatures around 20°C all weekend long, staying indoors over the next few days is morally forbidden. If you’re in the mood to explore Milan and need a bit of inspiration, here – as always – is the list of 5 things to do in the city this weekend, brought to you by nss magazine.

To eat – Ciciarà

Spring, as we know, brings on an appetite. Ciciarà was born as a side project of Colibrì, one of Milan’s most renowned literary cafés. The restaurant defines itself as a modern osteria with an ultra-Italian menu made with local, fully organic ingredients. This week, the outdoor area also reopened – perfect for enjoying lunch in the sun.

Piazza S. Stefano, 8

To chill – dalle8

Last November saw the opening of dalle8, the first Chinese brunch spot in Milan. The café’s mission is to bring the tradition of an authentic Chinese breakfast to Italy: it’s perfect both for the first meal of the day and for an afternoon snack. The best part? The selection of traditional drinks, including tea and soy juices.

Viale Pasubio, 6

To discover – Travelogue @ MUDEC

This past March 19 – as part of Milan Art Week – MUDEC opened its new exhibition Travelogue. Stories of journeys, migrations, and diasporas. The exhibition highlights the origins of the museum’s collections as a direct reflection of Milan’s history: a key part of the civic museum heritage since the beginning, these collections were formed thanks to contributions from citizens, travelers, researchers, and enthusiasts who brought objects to Milan from all over the world. Entry is free.

Via Tortona, 56

To shop – Piantala Pop-up

This weekend, Piantala lands at BASE, the largest pop-up sale in Italy dedicated to green thumbs. With over 10,000 plants and more than 100 varieties, all selected to be accessible to everyone – both in terms of price and ease of care – this green festival isn’t just about selling; it also features music, art, and even workshops to help you learn how to care for your plants. Entry is free with RSVP via dice.fm.

Via Bergognone, 34

To party – Amore Eterno @ VACUUM

x

This Saturday, the Vacuum Club is back with a new edition of Amore Eterno by night. Behind the decks will be Orpheu The Wizard, a tireless record digger and master at turning forgotten gems into dancefloor-ready sets. Joining him are the resident DJ-duo Eternal Love, a guaranteed source of obscure rhythms and out-of-the-ordinary vibes. Tickets are available on dice.fm.

Corso di Porta Ticinese, 32
