Summer between fashion and music at Fidenza Village Last July 17 a band with an unusual character but a shared passion performed

On July 17th, Fidenza Village hosted a live performance by the Moodboard, a band made up entirely of professionals working in the fashion industry. An unusual line-up, yet perfectly in tune with the hybrid spirit that increasingly defines events in the sector. The group – named after one of the most iconic visual tools in the creative industry – performed a setlist blending funk, soul, and pop, from Chic to Lizzo, turning the village just outside Parma into a stage where fashion and music could interact directly for one evening. Taking the stage were Cristina Pianta (Elie Saab), Antonella Monte (Marni), Matteo Tonelli (Vivienne Westwood), Alessia Schembri (Adidas), and Francesca Delogu, lifestyle and culture journalist. Born from a spontaneous conversation between colleagues, the Moodboard project came together like an extended jam session: five professionals with different backgrounds, united by a shared passion for music.

The concert was preceded by a talk held inside The Apartment, a multifunctional design space located in the heart of the Village. The theme of the discussion focused on how the collaborative dynamics of a band can inspire creative work in fashion. From the role of improvisation to embracing mistakes, the conversation aimed to draw a parallel between musical and design processes, suggesting that teamwork in fashion, much like in a band, works best when differences become a collective strength. With this event, Fidenza Village continued to position itself as a place where the experience goes beyond shopping, offering cultural content that seeks to bring the creative industries closer together.
