In a surprising fusion of luxury and streetwear, MCM and SNIPES have unveiled a capsule collection that redefines the boundaries of contemporary fashion. The collaboration marks a bold step for both brands: MCM, the historic German fashion house known for its craftsmanship and iconic bags, and SNIPES, one of the world’s leading streetwear retailers, deeply rooted in youth culture. Led by SNIPES’ Chief Creative Officer, DJ Khaled, the campaign reflects the electric energy of Miami. The city’s vibrant lifestyle, tropical palette, and rich culture are the soul of the collection, built around the concept of “Make it Miami.” For Khaled, who calls the 305 home, this project is much more than a fashion drop: it’s a personal tribute to the style, rhythm, and grit of his city. To celebrate the launch, MCM and SNIPES will host an exclusive event at the We The Best x SNIPES Store in South Beach, Miami, which will embody the essence of the collection and transform the retail experience into a moment of community and style. “This is what I do – another one for the people,” said DJ Khaled. “Bringing MCM into our world with this collaboration, especially as a tribute to the 305, makes it legendary. The capsule blends street design with luxury finishes, uniting SNIPES’ authentic urban aesthetic with MCM’s heritage of craftsmanship. Featuring oversized cuts, bold graphics, and standout details like glittery studs and glossy finishes, the garments radiate the unique energy of Miami’s sun-drenched streets. A new co-branded logo, created specifically for the collection, stands out on pieces in a vibrant palette that includes pink, turquoise, black, and white – shades that reflect the warmth and rhythm of the city. In addition to apparel, the collection includes accessories and leather goods designed for those who seek high-level style with a bold edge. Particularly noteworthy are two exclusive bag lines, which reflect each brand’s identity: a sleek black nylon series available only at SNIPES, and an elegant white leather version, sold exclusively by MCM.
