Last Tuesday, the inauguration of the first STWD pop-up store in Milan marked an important moment for the streetwear brand by Pull&Bear, which chose Italy – and in particular the vibrant heart of via Capelli – to open its doors to the public and its community. The event attracted a young and diverse crowd, including fashion enthusiasts, urban art lovers, and street culture fans. Akeem’s DJ set lit up the space with Marvely’s sound, as guests moved through the artworks and graffiti that define the store’s 250 square meters. A setup designed to tell the story of the brand’s identity, increasingly tied to contemporary artistic imagery. «For me, fashion is a natural extension of my art. It's a direct way to communicate who we are and where we want to go, so it plays a central role in my storytelling», said Davide Vavalà, the Bologna-based street artist featured in the upcoming meet and greet scheduled for April 29, one of the most anticipated moments in the lineup of side events.

To celebrate the opening, STWD launched the first drop of its new capsule collection, inspired by ‘90s sportswear style and college aesthetics. Soccer polos, nylon racing-style tracksuits, mesh T-shirts, and shorts with iconic graphics were among the most photographed items of the evening. «The inspiration comes from the desire to give voice to a generation that often feels futureless. I express real emotions: fear, the desire for change, the strength to imagine something different. My designs reflect all of this, a mix of energy and a need for redemption», Vavalà added, highlighting the affinity between his creative vision and the brand's spirit. The pop-up will remain open for two months, offering a dynamic space where fashion and art meet. An opportunity to build authentic relationships, as Vavalà emphasized: «Without community, there is no real dialogue. My community is part of my journey; they are not just spectators but protagonists along with me».
