Valentino's new campaign is only made of words

The second chapter of "The Narratives" project

Valentino's new campaign is only made of words The second chapter of The Narratives project

If lately fashion brands have been approaching the world of reading and literature, Valentino has already been at the forefront in bringing before the eyes of the public all the beauty of art and literature: since 2018, with the live performance of Rupi Kaur during the brand's Japanese show, up to the One Love initiative and the sponsorship of independent editions and bookstores, the brand has been tightening more and more the link with reading and its values. Talking about precisely this kind of beauty is the main purpose of Valentino The Narratives II, the brand's second campaign composed only of texts, which intends to change the very idea of fashion communication by giving all the importance to the message - literally. Love and gender freedom are the topics of the writings of the campaign, signed among others by André Aciman, author of Call Me by Your Name, David Sedaris, Emily Ratajkowski, Mieko Kawakami and Chung Serang.

The campaign is also accompanied by the renewal of the brand's initiative to support independent bookstores around the world.  The release of Valentino The Narratives II will reconfirm the brand's pro-active approach to promoting projects that support its community by continuing with the support granted to a selection of independent bookstores and renewing its collaboration with the Belletrist Bookclub, founded in 2017 by Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss, promoting cultural happenings and inviting the community to take part in an open dialogue.
