Nike puts Off-White™ release on hold ️Nike Blazer Low The release was set for December 7

After Virgil Abloh's passing last week, it was only a matter of time before Nike decided to get its hands on the release date of its sneakers created in collaboration with the Off-White™ founder. The first to make the impact was one of the upcoming shoes, the Off-White™ Nike Blazer Low.

According to Nice Kicks, the sneakers originally scheduled for December 7, have been postponed to a date to be determined by Nike, obviously as a sign of respect for Abloh's untimely death. Something similar had already happened last year, when the brand postponed the release of Kobe Bryant-related products by six months after the former Lakers player's death.

For Nike, the last few months have been decidedly problematic. As a consequence of the Astroworld tragedy the brand has chosen to postpone the release of one of the Air Max 1 X Cactus Jack created in collaboration with Travis Scott, one of the leading names among the creators affiliated to the brand, while some delays in the supply chain due to the repercussions of Covid-19 have blocked the arrival of many orders in stores around the world.
