Nike is mass-canceling order due to production problems The brand has assured that production will resume as soon as possible

Problems continue for Nike's supply chain, forced to cancel several orders due to production problems related in large part to the impact of the pandemic on the brand's entire production chain. The news came through a tweet by Brendan Dunne, co-host of the podcast Full Size Run, which referred to an email sent by Nike to an American store to notify the cancellation of orders for the winter and summer collection.

The same fate seems to have befallen many other stores, including several Italians, forced to come to terms with the decision taken by the brand at a delicate time of the year for many retailers as the one that goes from Black Friday until the first sales of the year. At the moment Nike has limited itself to commenting on the news assuring that "production will resume as soon as possible".

It will however be interesting to see what kind of impact the news will have on the resell prices of many Nike sneakers, which in addition to production problems has recently had to deal with the consequences of the Astroworld tragedy and the consequences on one of the most important creators among those present in the brand's stable, Travis Scott.
