COLORS delves into the diverse tones of creativity with Tones of Paris 2025 Five days of performances, workshops and meetings to celebrate Parisian creativity
These last few days, Paris has pulsed with a unique energy as TONES of Paris by COLORS made its grand return to the capital. For five days, TONES, a series of community activations, live performances and creative workshops designed to bring together Paris’s cultural communities and highlight emerging talent, transformed the City of Light into a true open-air studio. A temporary stage where music, art and craftsmanship intertwined to celebrate the power of shared spaces where music, art and craftsmanship connect. An event that followed the previous editions in London and New York, expanding COLORS’ global commitment to supporting creative communities beyond the studio walls.
The week began with a private Dinner Salon hosted by Levi’s, bringing together cultural leaders and collaborators at the heart of the city. The energy then spread over the next four days at the Union de la Jeunesse Internationale. Thanks to partnerships with Levi’s, Ballantine’s and Nothing, the doors opened to free community programming, with around 200 attendees per event. Throughout the five days, workshops, listening sessions, exhibitions and customization stations ran alongside performances and late-night events. The program included a talk with Sixtion and a hands-on customization workshop with Marché Noir, in partnership with Levi’s, as well as an interactive listening experience curated by Nothing, inviting participants to explore sound as a form of creative expression.
As Andrew Freshwater, Head of Global Marketing, Smart Products at Nothing, explained, their presence at TONES of Paris represents a commitment to engaging with the worlds that shape culture, from music to fashion and art. The event highlighted the breadth of today’s creativity in Paris, from Art Comes First’s BlackSuperMarket installation to hands-on activations with Marché Noir. Over the course of the week, around 3,000 people took part in TONES of Paris activities.
As artist Prince Gyasi summarized, the essence of the initiative “is a special platform” that unites “bold voices, fresh sounds and raw creativity into an unforgettable experience.” The audience had the privilege of attending live performances by artists featured on COLORS, bringing that same energy to the stage in an intimate and electrifying way. TONES of Paris thus welcomed a mix of rising voices and cultural leaders, including Swizz Beatz, Prince Gyasi, Mathieu Plenier, Bamby, Béesau, Theodora, Kerchak, and Jewel Usain. Every moment remained open, accessible and rooted in community, a true reflection of what COLORS, as a “stage for non-ordinary expression,” strives to champion.
