PLEASURES and Dr. Martens in a new chapter dedicated to subcultures

PLEASURES and Dr. Martens in a new chapter dedicated to subcultures 90s grunge attitude and DIY approach

Two music subculture icons have followed up their collaboration with a new release again celebrating the 90s grunge attitude and DIY approach. Founded in Los Angeles in 2015 by Alex James and Vlad Elkin, PLEASURES is a brand immersed in music and subcultures: grunge, metal and punk. It has conquered the streetwear scene with garments intimately connected to and inspired by the co-founders' everyday life, passions and obsessions, without the fear of pushing boundaries and with the aim of conveying authenticity. The collaboration with PLEASURES is a natural evolution for Dr. Martens that has the flavour of 70s punk or early 90s Riot Grrrl.

For this second release, Dr. Martens' timeless 1461 shoe has been reworked with a tie-dye polycotton upper that gives the shoe a unique touch. A statement for the wearer, a love letter addressed to music culture: the PLEASURE 1461 rests on Dr. Martens' typical Bex sole.

The PLEASURES 1461 Bex will be available from 17.06 on drmartens.com and at selected partners.
