The new sandal from Dr. Martens and Pleasures with a grunge aesthetic DIY aesthetics and musical subcultures

Dr. Martens and Pleasures, two brands that immediately recall musical subcultures, have presented their new collaboration celebrating the grunge attitude of the 90s and the DIY approach in an easy-to-wear sandal.

The PLEASURES Jorge which, with its soft black nappa leather, is a veritable ode to comfort, is embellished with the embroidery of the brand's lettering. Founded in Los Angeles in 2015 by Alex James and Vlad Elkin, PLEASURES is a brand that has been immersed in music of various genres since its inception: grunge, metal and punk. It has conquered the streetwear scene with garments intimately connected to and inspired by the everyday life, passions and obsessions of the co-founders, without the fear of overstepping boundaries and with the aim of conveying authenticity. The collaboration with PLEASURES is therefore a natural evolution for Dr. Martens, whose DNA has been characterised by musical subcultures, including 70s punk and 90s Riot Grrrl.

PLEASURES Jorge will be available on drmartens.com and from selected partners from 30 April.
