Moncler and Mytheresa present their first virtual pop-up
A 360° digital experience that will also include a release of exclusive jackets
October 20th, 2021
Luxury e-tailer Mytheresa and Moncler presented a new virtual pop-up concept to present the brand's new womanswear and menswear collections. The virtual store will be a real location that can be explored at 360 ° in the Timmelsjoch Museum, an extraordinary modernist structure set among the snow-capped peaks of Austrian South Tyrol, and will allow visitors to explore both the museum itself and the brand's products that also include the Cuvellier jacket and the Cotonnier coat exclusively.
In addition to the immersive experience inside the museum, by clicking on each item it will be possible to access a detailed card that will allow you to explore its history and all the details. Once you have selected your items, you can buy them directly within the virtual pop-up store and share on social media and via email the best visual moments of this new retail experience.
Precisely the features of exploration of the museum and social sharing, as well as the possibility of deepening the most minute details of the individual products represent a response to the growing need on the part of consumers to enrich the retail experience both aesthetically and culturally - but also to better explore the history and details of individual products. A need born during the pandemic, a period during which the race to digital retail has made it even more necessary to transform shopping into a mini-verse to be explored in the round. Precisely this type of in-depth analysis is already a signature of Moncler, which on its e-shop offers very in-depth information sheets but, with this new pop-up, an even greater degree of detail is to be expected.
