National Geographic’s 2016 Nature Photographer of the Year Contest

Such as every year, the National Geographic chosen the best photos of the year, shoted around the world. The photos meet differents categories: Animals Portrait, Landscape, Action and Environmental Issues. The winning photo is titled "Sardine Run" and it is taken by the photographer Lecoeur. The photo talks about the migration of sardines in South Africa and their techniques’s developments to protect their self from the predators.

The prize this year is a ten-day trip aboard the National Geographic Endeavour, that will explore the Galapagos Islands.
