Watches, jewels, handbags and cars have always been the most immediate signal of a very specific status symbol. A constant that hasn't changed even in times of a pandemic, a moment that has instead strengthened certain values already well-rooted.

After many months of lockdowns and red zones, nss magazine is back on the streets of Milan, through the lens of Lauren Bentil, to dive into that opulent, exclusive, at times a bit lavish, atmosphere that one breathes in the quadrilateral of the Milanese fashion, in that labyrinth of streets made up of refined shop windows, golden signs and hidden showrooms. Here, by the sidewalk or directly on it, there is a continuous alternation of Ferraris, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, between those who prefer more elegant colourways and those who love colours that are anything but sober. It's nice to know that some things never change.
