Pharrell Williams and Tiffany & Co. will release a new jewelry collection It's called 'Titan' and takes inspiration from Poseidon's trident

That Pharrell Williams is one of today's most eclectic contemporary creatives is unquestionable. It is a quality that not only makes him unique and different from his peers, but also gives the LVMH luxury group great freedom of action. And recently Williams has also taken an interest in his other passion: jewelry. Today came the announcement that Louis Vuitton's men's creative director will design a new, exclusive collection with the jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., which will be named Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams. As also reported by WWD, just hours after the collaboration was made official, the artist's statements arrived: «Water is an important source of inspiration for me. So, the name of this collection, 'Titan,' is inspired by the figure of Poseidon, the lord of the sea and King of Atlantis - which is also the name of the community where I grew up in Virginia Beach,» said Williams, adding that «What distinguishes all the jewelry is the use of black titanium. For me, it's a physical manifestation of the beauty of the color black.»

Pharrell's words were joined by those of Alexandre Arnault, son of the CEO of the French company Bernard Arnault and executive vice president and head of product and communication at Tiffany & Co.: «We are thrilled to present Pharrell's inaugural collection for Tiffany & Co. Titan aims to challenge the most classic design of high-end jewelry. It represents a balance between Pharrell's creative vision and Tiffany & Co.'s craftsmanship. Each piece embodies Pharrell's distinctive style and unique perspective.» The collection focuses on a selection composed of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings in punk style. It consists of 19 pieces and is available in 18-carat yellow gold or titanium, in metal and diamonds. The retail prices of the collection items will range from $3,500 to $53,000. It is a very significant collection that demonstrates how LVMH is choosing to utilize Pharrell Williams' figure. At the same time, the second chapter of the liaison was in the air: Pharrell has never hidden his fascination with Tiffany & Co., ever since, in 2022, during Kenzo's Fall show, he revealed the partnership with the high jewelry brand by wearing a pair of glasses that would become iconic. After all, Pharrell turns everything he touches into gold, and this could represent a new turning point for Tiffany & Co.
