Ganni, Wood Wood and Paolina Russo among the stars of the upcoming Copenhagen Fashion Week August 7 to 11, fashion week returns to the Danish city

After last February's edition, Copenhagen Fashion Week is preparing to return with its highly anticipated summer edition. From August 7 to 11, the Danish city will host 31 shows, including regulars Ganni and Wood Wood, along with newcomers Vain and Marimekko, and Paolina Russo, among the names in the running for the last LVMH Prize and winner of the Zalando Visionary Award. Part of the CPHFW NEWTALENT instead Rolf Ekroth, Nicklas Skovgaard, and P.L.N., are among the most exciting names seen last February. Also part of the program is A. Roege Hove, Baum und Pferdgarten, Saks Potts, Lovechild 1979, Henrik Vibskov, OpéraSport, Rotate, Sunflower, and The Garment, while Holzweiler and (Di)vision, which will organize what the brand described as a community event, are missing from the roll call.

Each brand was approved by the CPHFW Show Committee and CPHFW Sustainability Committee after a selection process based on an evaluative process that judges not only the creative proposal but also the value chain of the brands examined through the 18 standards required by Copenhagen Fashion Week. «Continuing on our debut season of the Sustainability Requirements, we are greatly excited to showcase brands for this upcoming spring/summer edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week that are living up to our Minimum Standards,» said CEO Cecilie Thorsmark. «From brands that are new to our schedule to those who have been part of before, it is notable their dedication to operating more responsibly. Furthermore, as we are welcoming several newcomers to this edition, it is apparent that Copenhagen Fashion Week remains attractive not only to the Nordic brands but also beyond.» In addition, to support the growth of Danish Fashion Week, CPHFW will be lengthened by one day, opening on Monday afternoon and then including breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. «As our fashion weeks continue to grow, we too must expand into the wider part of the week in order to give the deserved time and space for the exceptional lineup we have planned for SS24 across shows, presentations, events, and activations,» said Cecilie Thorsmark.
