Try your luck with StockX's Black Friday initiative A mysterious prize game from the largest reselling site in the world

Black Friday is coming. This November 29th, both physical and online stores will be stormed by thousands of customers looking for the best deal and the strongest discount. And for the occasion, StockX, the world's largest reselling platform, is also launching an initiative to reward its customers. On Black Friday, StockX decided to engage its users in a prize game.

Any Stockx user who buys a pair of sneakers, a streetwear item or a collector's item (so watches and bags are excluded) will participate in the draw to win a free prize. You can win sneakers and garments, collectible items, discounts on products and shipments or gift cards from 5,000 euros to 10,000 euros. What can be won? Awards include the new Yeezy Boost 380 "Alien", the Air Force 1 Low Travis Scott Cactus Jack, Virgil Abloh's carpet for Ikea or the Supreme x Rimowa trolley. But the real lucky ones will be the winners of the biggest prize: free sneakers or streetwear for a whole year. After each purchase, users will see a spinning wheel that will give them a prize and receive a notification that will immediately reveal what they have won. Later, an email will arrive with instructions to collect it. StockX's Black Friday promotion will start on 6:00 a.m. on November 29th.

You'll find a complete list of all prizes on the StockX's web page. For a first look at the best of them, swipe through our gallery.

When we talk about StockX we don't talk about the usual ecommerce but about the future of resell sites. StockX's business model, in fact, has a system of quotes and offers very similar to that of the stock market to which the marketplace was inspired. Complementary services to the marketplace are also the legit check, the price guide and the charts that record the trend of trades. As Josh Luber said in the interview with nss:

“The logic that this model should work for resell, for sneaker and for streetwear was so sound. The stock market is the perfect form of commerce and we were copying that. The theory was definitely sound.”
