One of the most anticipated films of the upcoming film season?

Surely is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the new work by Quentin Tarantino.

Shooting will start in the first days of July, but fortunately, Leonardo di Caprio, one of the protagonists, has just released a preview image via his Instagram account that portrays him alongside with Brad Pitt on set.

As can be deduced from the clothing of the two actors, the film is set in 1969, at the height of hippie Hollywood, and is about Rick Dalton (played by the star from The Wolf of Wall Street), a actor famous for having recited years in some western TV series, and Clif Booth (Pitt), his stuntman who tries to break into a film industry that does not seem to recognize them anymore.

All this during the terrible massacres of the Manson family. Among the victims were Sharon Tate, wife of the director Roman Polanski, who was killed on August 9, 1969 and, in Tarantino's story, will have the face of Margot Robbie.

The director said he had worked on the screenplay for five years and added:

"I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an LA and a Hollywood that doesn’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt".

For Tarantino "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is his ninth film and, and according to what he has been saying for years, could be his penultimate, because after his tenth film he's revealed the intention to focus on something beyond cinema.

For Pitt and DiCaprio, it is the second project together, after having recited together (even if for just a few seconds) in The Audition, an advertising short film by Martin Scorsese.

Among the other actors in the cast of the new film by the director of Pulp Fiction, which should arrive at the cinema next year, there are: Al Pacino, James Marsden, Timothy Olyphant, Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, Nicholas Hammond, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr., Julia Butters and Keith Jefferson.
