Ketama126 drops unexpected third album Rehab A mix of hip-hop and american Golden Age grunge

Ketama126, Roman trap boy, all of a sudden released his third album, Rehab, on the label Asian Fake and Soldy Music, Soldy's first release as a real record company.

The eight brand new tracks, available only in digital versions, are just the first part of the record, the second is set to come out in September. Rehab is a telling title for the young artist, who reflects on his past but at the same time is a symbol for new beginnings. Music was responsible for this rebirth: through music, Ketama sets himself free from his demons and can elevate himself and improve.

The album was entirely written and produced by Ketama: eight songs composed in just two months. The record contains also two tracks featuring two Love Gang members: Pretty Solero and Franco 126.

The singer deals with typical trap music topics, the lyrics are essential and repeated words become catchphrases within every track. The real news is the sound complexity: the sound of the guitar in the title track Rehab resembles Blink 182 and Sum 41's rhythmic pop-rock songs, while the track Angeli Caduti has mystic-religious undertones. Con Te, released last March and included on the record, reveals a certain romanticism, not only in the lyrics but also in the music.

There's a mix of hip-hop and American Golden Age grunge, which the singer particularly loves. Enjoy Rehab!
